CANOE BEACH RESORT, San Antonio, Zambales A comfortable, clean and simple accommodation located in Pundaquit Town, the jump-off site to Camara, Capones Islands, and Anawangin Cove. AMENITIES: The resort offers basic amenities/facilities for convenient stay. The resort has an adult and kiddie swimming pool and offers free use of nipa huts. Basic dorms sleep up to 10 in bunk beds, and come with linens, air-conditioning and en suite bathrooms. Private rooms offer pool or beach views. Some rooms have fans (no air-conditioning) but lack TVs. Towels are available for rent. Parking is free. There's also a casual restaurant. Beach facilities include BBQ grills, palm-thatched huts and a volleyball court. HOW TO GET THERE: From Pasay/Cubao/Kalookan Terminal, take the bus going to Iba, Zambales. Drop off to San Antonio town proper, take the tricycle going to Pundaquit Town. Victory Liner Bus has daily trips going to Iba and travel time can be around 4-4.5 hours only. RATES: Quadruple Rooms (Poolside) are at P2500/night on weekdays and P2800/night on weekends. Double Rooms (Beachfront) are at P1800/night on weekdays and P2000/night on weekends.
