The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River (or Underground River) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The 8.2-kilometer river, said to be the longest navigable underground river in the world, winds its way underneath a mountain range, through the St. Paul Underground River Cave, and then goes out into the South China Sea. The journey through the cave system alone is 24 kilometers long.

Visitor Entry Permits: 
For this tour, early booking is a must (at least ONE WEEK prior to arrival) to avoid disappointment, as there is only a very limited number of people, per day, given Visitor Entry Permits to this natural wonder. This limitation was made in an effort by the local government to lessen the environmental impact that humans may bring to the natural habitat of endangered species which are endemic to the area. Please include the (1) complete names, age (on date of tour) and nationalities of person(s) who will participate in the tour in the "SPECIAL REQUESTS" section of the order form.

Note: Upon arrival in Sabang, your Tour Guide will visit the Underground River Authorities Office to be given the time slot of your party's issued permits. Based on this time slot you will either have your complimentary lunch before or after your tour. Waiting time for getting inside the cave can take anywhere from 1-2 hours, but there are plenty of places to explore in the waiting area and souvenir shops which you can enjoy.
